DGVCL Announces Scheduled Power Cuts in Parts of Surat District from June 9 to 14

Surat: The Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) has announced scheduled power outages across several areas in the rural parts and industrial zones of Surat district due to essential maintenance work. The outages will impact different feeders under various sub-stations between June 9 and June 14, 2025, and are expected to last for five hours each day—from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
According to a notice issued by the Surat Rural Division office, the sub-divisions where power outages will occur include Kapodra, Pasodara, Kosad, Puna, Simada, and Laskana. On June 10, the 22 kV Gajjar feeder from the 66 kV Tapi sub-station and the 11 kV Swastik Urban feeder from the 66 kV Vav sub-station will experience power cuts.
On June 11, the 11 kV Baliyadev AG feeder from the 66 kV Variyav sub-station will be under maintenance.
On Thursday, June 12, the 22 kV Matrushakti feeder from the 66 kV Puna sub-station will face a power outage.
On June 13, affected feeders include the 22 kV Yogichowk feeder from the 66 kV Sarthana sub-station, and both the 11 kV Sanskruti and 11 kV Somnath feeders from the 66 kV Laskana sub-station.
Meanwhile, according to another notice issued by the Kadodara Division office, power cuts will affect multiple sub-divisions, which include Kadodara Industrial, Kamrej Rural, Kamrej-2 Urban, Kadodara-1, Sevni, Kadodara-2, and Palsana.
On Monday, June 9, the 11 kV Shubhlaxmi Industrial feeder from the 66 kV Kadodara sub-station will experience a power outage.
On Tuesday, June 10, multiple areas will be affected, such as all 11 kV feeders under the 66 kV Vav sub-station in Kamrej Rural, and the 11 kV Khaleshwar AG feeder from the 66 kV Kamrej sub-station under the Kamrej-2 Urban sub-division.
On Wednesday, June 11, power will be disrupted in several locations, including the 11 kV Maruti Industrial feeder, 11 kV Jay Bharat Industrial feeder, 11 kV Nagod AG feeder, and 11 kV Galateshwar JGY feeder.
On Thursday, June 12, the affected feeders include the 11 kV Bindal Industrial feeder in Kadodara-1, the 11 kV Dastan JGY feeder from the 66 kV Jolva sub-station under Kadodara-2, the 11 kV Bhavani JGY feeder from the 66 kV Kamrej sub-station in Kamrej Rural, and the 11 kV Delad AG feeder in Kamrej-2 Urban.
On Friday, June 13, further outages will take place, affecting the 11 kV Morthana AG feeder and 11 kV Parab JGY feeder from the 66 kV Parab sub-station in Sevni, along with the 11 kV Jiyor AG feeder under Kamrej-2 Urban from the 66 kV Kamrej sub-station.
On the final day, Saturday, June 14, outages are scheduled for the 11 kV Nehrunagar Industrial feeder from the 66 kV Kamrej sub-station in Kamrej Rural, and all 11 kV feeders from the 66 kV Palsana sub-station, affecting the Palsana sub-division.
