Ahmedabad bound Gujarat ST bus plunges in to Mount Abu valley, 12 dead

There is one bad news coming in from Mount Abu. Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC)’s Ahmedabad-bound bus plunged into a deep valley on mount Abu on Friday evening.
As per the detail available to DeshGujarat from Sirohi police, the accident occurred at around 5.20 pm near place called Chhiba valley. Sirohi police added that the bus plunged into the valley as deep as 100 ft. The incident according to police happened 20 minutes after the bus left Mount Abu heading towards Ahmedabad.
When contacted, Shri P.D.Patel, Secretary, GSRTC told DeshGujarat that rescue work was going on with the help of army, police, district administration and NDRF jawans. He added that as per the initial detail coming in, 12 persons were believed to be dead, while 37 passengers are injured.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The bus had left Mount Abu to reach Ahmedabad’s Naherunagar depot.
