BJP suspends former Matar MLA Kesrisinh Solanki
July 21, 2025
Kheda: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Kheda unit chief has suspended former Matar MLA Kesrisinh Solanki from primary membership of party with immediate effect. Kesrisinh was not given party ticket in 2022 and he had joined Aam Aadmi Party for a while but rejoined BJP after that. His ticket was cancelled reportedly due to the reason that being then BJP MLA, he had cross voted in Rajya Sabha election in favor of Congress candidate Bharatsinh Solanki.
Kesrisinh has been for last some time making serious allegations against cooperatives bodies like Amul and Kheda District Cooperative Bank, that are ruled by BJP men. In the past Kesrisinh was caught in gambling case involving a resort in Panchmahal district. The local court in Halol had given him two years imprisonment. DeshGujarat
