Star Air to launch Ahmedabad – Jamnagar direct flight service later this month

Ahmedabad: Star Air, the aviation arm of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, is set to resume its direct flight operations in Gujarat, with a key new route connecting Ahmedabad to Jamnagar starting August 23, 2025.
The new Ahmedabad–Jamnagar route will operate daily, with flight S5 614 departing from Ahmedabad at 8:15 AM and arriving in Jamnagar at 9:05 AM. The return flight, S5 615, will leave Jamnagar at 2:50 PM and land in Ahmedabad by 3:40 PM. Services will be operated using the 50-seater Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft, offering a comfortable 1×2 seating configuration.
In addition to this new route, Star Air will continue operating flights from Ahmedabad to Nanded, Belagavi, and Kolhapur, further expanding the city’s air connectivity with key destinations.
Introductory fares on the new Ahmedabad–Jamnagar route start at ₹2,222. Bookings are now open on Star Air’s official website and other major travel platforms.
The airline, operating under the Centre’s UDAN scheme, has successfully completed six years of regional operations, having flown over 1.6 million passengers. Its current fleet includes Embraer E145 and E175 jets, offering both business and economy class cabins. DeshGujarat
