Menacing Stray Dog Attacks Over 25 People in Dabhoi

Dabhoi: The town was thrown into panic this Friday after a stray dog went on a rampage, attacking around 25 people in just three hours. Terrified victims fled for safety as the aggressive dog chased anyone in sight, causing widespread chaos and fear across several localities.
According to reports, the stray dog attacked residents in areas including Nandodi Bhagol, Suraj Faliya, Rabari Waga, Shinor Chokdi, Begvada, and Bhilvada. The attacks began around 5 PM and continued until approximately 8 PM, leaving nearly 25 to 30 people injured. The incident sparked fear and alarm among locals, severely disrupting the peace of the town.
Among the injured were Kiranbhai Govindbhai Vasava, Sanji Galiya Vasava, Yunus Pathan, Pareshbhai, Rajeshbhai, Arunbhai Vasava, Rakeshbhai Rameshbhai, Rameshbhai, Ishwarbhai Nimeshbhai, Atul Kalidas, and Shaileshbhai, all admitted to Dabhoi government hospital in serious condition. Doctors later referred 10 critically injured patients to Vadodara’s Sayaji Hospital for further treatment.
Local residents have voiced strong demands for immediate action to address the menace of stray dogs. A local expressed concern that the dog targeted children, women, and elderly people, causing deep wounds on limbs and faces.
