Big B to be back in Gujarat in November, Taj hotel’s Sasan Gir property to reopen next month

Speaking to media persons after inaugurating the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) at Ahmedabad’s Gujarat University exhibition hall, Gujarat Tourism Secretary Vipul Mitra on Friday said, bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will come to Gujarat for second phase of shooting of Gujarat Tourism advertisement campaign ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ in November this year.
Mitra said Shri Bachchan will visit Saputara, Ahmedabad, Siddhpur and Ambaji.
He said the process of making story board of the advertisements featuring Bachchan is going on. The final theme would be approved by the Chief Minister and then Shri Bachchan would come to Gujarat for final shoot.
Mitra said earlier campaign featuring Mr. Bachchan was very successful and the state noticed 30% increase in incoming traffic of tourists.
He said the Taj hotel that was closed 10 years back due to lack of traffic is now going to reopen. “Taj’s Gateway facility will reopen next month in Sasan Gir ahead of the forthcoming winter season of tourists.”
