Gujarat Govt Announces Ad-Hoc Bonus for Class-IV Employees Ahead of Diwali

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved an ad-hoc bonus of up to ₹7,000 for Class-IV employees to ensure they can celebrate the upcoming Diwali festival with enthusiasm.
Around 16,921 Class-IV employees of the state, including those serving under the State Cabinet departments, the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Panchayats, university-affiliated colleges, grant-in-aid schools and colleges, and employees in state government board corporations who are not otherwise eligible for board bonuses, will benefit from this scheme.
The bonus will be provided within a maximum limit of ₹7,000 per employee. Chief Minister Patel has also directed the State Finance Department to issue the necessary orders to implement this decision promptly. DeshGujarat
