Gandhinagar: Union Home Affairs and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is going to inaugurate new quarters for Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of Gujarat State Assembly today, built at a cost of ₹220 crore. The old MLA quarters in Sector 17 were demolished and replaced with 216 newly constructed 4BHK homes. Shah is also the Lok Sabha member representing Gandhinagar constituency. Shah who is on Gujarat visit to spend time with the family during Diwali and Gujarati New Year is also going to lay foundation stone for Sanand-Khoraj GIDC 6-lane road at Shantipura circle road in Ahmedabad.
