Jetpur: A serious accident occurred at the Diwali Funfair organized by the Rotary Club in Jetpur last night when a ‘Break Dance’ ride suddenly collapsed. A couple, Dhaval Mandali and his wife Gayatri Mandali, were seriously injured as the ride flipped upside down, causing panic among fairgoers.

The injured were initially admitted to Jetpur Civil Hospital and later transferred to Junagadh due to the severity of their injuries. Both are reported to be in critical condition.

Police arrived at the scene, shut down the fair, and have launched a thorough investigation. Preliminary reports suggest the accident may have been caused by a technical fault or poor maintenance of the ride. Questions have also been raised about whether the ride had proper permissions and complied with safety regulations.
