GSRTC launches new luxury bus services from Gandhinagar to Diu, Ahwa, and Mundra

Gandhinagar: A new fleet of three air-conditioned (AC) luxury seater buses was launched from the Gandhinagar ST Depot on Tuesday to enhance travel convenience for passengers. The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has introduced new direct luxury bus services from Gandhinagar to Diu, Ahwa, and Mundra, which began operations today.
According to officials, online booking for all three routes has also been made available, enabling passengers to reserve seats easily in advance.
Under the new schedule, the Gandhinagar–Diu luxury bus will depart daily at 5:45 pm and reach its destination in about 10 hours, with a fare of approximately ₹750. The return bus from Diu to Gandhinagar will leave at 8:30 pm.
The Gandhinagar–Ahwa luxury bus will depart at 5:00 pm and reach Ahwa by 11:00 pm, with a fare of around ₹790. The return service from Ahwa to Gandhinagar will depart at 6:15 pm.
Meanwhile, the Gandhinagar–Mundra (Shantivan) AC luxury bus will leave at 1:15 pm, taking around 9 hours to reach its destination, with a fare of ₹699. The return journey from Mundra Shantivan to Gandhinagar will commence at 10:00 pm.
Officials noted that this marks the first-ever direct luxury bus service between Gandhinagar and Mundra Shantivan, providing added convenience for passengers. With these new routes, travellers from Gandhinagar can now enjoy comfortable, affordable, and direct connectivity to Diu, Ahwa, and Mundra. DeshGujarat
