Surat: Heart attack cases among young people are increasingly becoming a cause for concern in Gujarat. In a tragic incident in Kapodra, a 24-year-old woman from Ahmedabad suddenly collapsed during a college program and passed away. CCTV footage capturing the entire incident has also surfaced.

The deceased, Jill Thakkar, who hails from the Raipur area of Ahmedabad, was delivering a speech on stage during an event at Dharukawala College in Kapodra when she suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness due to a suspected heart attack. Those present immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where the attending doctor declared her dead.

Witnesses reported that the atmosphere turned chaotic as the young woman collapsed in the middle of the program. Despite the quick response and medical assistance, she could not be saved.

Kapodra police, who are investigating the incident, stated that Jill Thakkar worked in an IT company that was organizing the camp at the college, for which she had come to Surat from Ahmedabad. While giving her speech at the seminar, she suddenly became unconscious. A postmortem is being carried out, and the exact cause of death will be determined soon.
