New AC Waiting Hall Unveiled at Ahmedabad Railway Station

Ahmedabad: A new Air-Conditioned Waiting Hall at Ahmedabad Railway Station’s Platform No. 1 was inaugurated this morning by Ahmedabad West MP Dinesh Makwana and Dariapur MLA Kaushik Jain. The facility is the first of its kind in the Ahmedabad Division and is aimed at significantly enhancing passenger comfort and travel convenience.
The newly opened waiting hall can accommodate 250 reserved passengers and includes several commuter-friendly amenities such as a baby care room, a refreshment and beverage counter, and clean washrooms with bathing facilities. The hall is also equipped with mobile charging points and offers reading materials and essential items for travellers.
Railway officials said the upgraded waiting area is part of ongoing efforts to modernise station infrastructure and improve the overall travel experience for passengers. DeshGujarat
