Gujarat Police reunites 901 missing persons with families in 30-day campaign

Gujarat: In a concerted effort to trace missing persons across the state, the CID Crime and Railway unit, along with the CID Crime Women Cell, launched a special campaign that located 901 missing individuals, reuniting them with their families, an official statement said.
The 30-day special operation was conducted in two phases, in which special teams were constituted in all police stations across major cities and districts, as well as within the CID Crime Missing Cell.
During the two-phase, 30-day operation, the teams successfully traced 614 women and 287 men, totaling 901 missing persons across Gujarat.
The CID (Crime) wing of Gujarat Police routinely organizes special operations to trace missing children and individuals. The procedures for rehabilitating and reuniting rescued persons with their families are implemented effectively, ensuring swift and safe restoration. DeshGujarat
