Night temperatures dip in many parts of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad and Baroda

Ahmedabad: Several parts of Gujarat recorded a drop in minimum temperatures over the past 24 hours, indicating slightly cooler night conditions across the state, according to the latest weather report by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) this morning.
In Ahmedabad, the minimum temperature declined from 14.1°C on Monday to 13.3°C on Tuesday, though it remained 1.4°C above normal. Similar cooling was observed in Vadodara, where the minimum temperature fell sharply from 14.8°C to 12.2°C, slipping to 0.7°C below normal. Gandhinagar experienced a marginal increase, settling at 13.7°C, but night temperatures remained relatively cool.
Deesa recorded a slight dip from 12.3°C to 11.9°C, while Naliya saw the minimum temperature ease from 11.2°C to 10.8°C.
Bhavnagar also witnessed a noticeable decrease, with the minimum temperature dropping from 16.6°C to 14.6°C, while Rajkot recorded a fall from 13.0°C to 11.5°C, now 0.9°C below normal. In Porbandar, night temperatures declined from 12.8°C to 11.0°C, registering 2.5°C below normal, making it one of the cooler locations in the Saurashtra region. Amreli, however, showed a marginal rise from 9.6°C to 11.6°C, though it continued to hover close to normal levels.
Coastal areas also reflected mixed trends. Diu recorded a notable fall from 12.2°C to 15.7°C, while Veraval saw a dip from 16.4°C to 15.5°C. Dwarka reported a slight decrease from 19.0°C to 17.8°C, and Okha remained largely stable around 19.6°C.
No rainfall was reported from any station across the state during the period. DeshGujarat
