Vadodara: The city police arrested three Blinkit delivery personnel who were involved in a public altercation and launched an investigation into the credentials of the Blinkit warehouse and its employees operating in the area.
The accused were identified as Hitesh Gandhi (43), Prafful Patel (48) and Mohammad Firoz Malik (22). They were allegedly involved in a physical fight while still wearing their Blinkit-branded delivery bags. After their arrest, police released a video of the accused performing sit-ups while holding their ears.
Police Inspector M.R. Sangada of the Atladara police station said the men had a disagreement that escalated into a public disturbance. “After the video circulated, police contacted the Blinkit warehouse within our jurisdiction and identified the individuals involved. Action was initiated under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita to prevent further disturbance,” he said.
The accused stated during questioning that internal disputes among delivery riders over order allocation had triggered the clash. DeshGujarat
