Indian Army Band to perform at Sabarmati Riverfront as part of Republic Day celebrations

Ahmedabad: As part of the country’s 77th Republic Day celebrations, the Ministry of Defence is organising military band performances across the nation in coordination with the Indian Army.
According to information received from the Ministry of Defence, the programme will be held from January 24 to January 25, 2026. The primary objective of the initiative is to mark the 150th anniversary of the patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram’ and to highlight the values of patriotism, unity, sacrifice, and unwavering love for the motherland.
Under this nationwide initiative, special programmes have also been organised in various cities of Gujarat. In Ahmedabad, the Army Band will perform on January 24 and 25 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Plaza Area of Atal Bridge on the Sabarmati Riverfront.
