Dakor Ranchhodraiji Temple Darshan Timings Changed on Phagni Purnima Due to Lunar Eclipse

Dakor: Phagni Purnima, also known as Holi Poonam, witnesses a sea of devotees at Dakor for the darshan of Shri Thakorji. This year, as a lunar eclipse falls on Tuesday, March 3, important changes have been made to the darshan timings at Dakor Ranchhodraiji Temple.
Keeping in mind the rules of observing the lunar eclipse, a decision was taken in a meeting with the temple’s sevak representatives and manager to revise the schedule. Considering the heavy rush of devotees and religious rituals, the administration has announced special timings for that day.
On March 3, the temple will open at 1:45 am. Mangala Aarti will be held at 2:00 am. Darshan will remain open till 3:30 am.
Between 3:30 am and 4:00 am, the Lord will be seated for Bala Bhog, Shrungar Bhog and Gowal Bhog, during which darshan will remain closed.
At 4:00 am, Decoration Aarti will be performed. Between 4:00 am and 6:00 am, Lord Gopal Lalji Maharaj will be seated in a flower bed and a flower festival will be celebrated.
Between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, the Lord will sit to enjoy the royal feast, and darshan will remain closed during this time. Rajbhog Aarti will be held at 7:00 am, and darshan will remain open till 8:00 am.
Between 8:00 am and 8:15 am, the Lord will sleep. At 8:15 am, the temple will reopen and the Utthapan Aarti will be held. Darshan will remain open till 9:30 am.
Between 9:30 am and 10:00 am, the Lord will sit for Shayan Bhog and Sakhdi Bhog, and darshan will remain closed. Darshan will reopen at 10:00 am.
After Shri Thakorji will sleep at 2:00 pm, the temple entry will be completely closed for devotees.
On March 4, the temple will reopen as per the routine schedule and darshan will be held at the regular time. DeshGujarat
