PM Modi likely to visit Gujarat on Feb 28 for Sanand chip facility launch

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit his home state of Gujarat on February 28, during which he is likely to inaugurate a semiconductor manufacturing facility at Sanand near Ahmedabad. During the visit, the Prime Minister may also unveil the country’s first indigenously developed semiconductor chip. Earlier, the visit was expected to take place on the 23rd of the month, but no official confirmation has yet been announced regarding the revised schedule.
It is also learnt that the Prime Minister is likely to hold a roadshow and address a public rally in Ahmedabad on the same day. The rally is expected to signal the start of the party’s campaign for the upcoming elections to municipal corporations, municipalities, district panchayats, and taluka panchayats across the state.
In addition, Modi is anticipated to inaugurate several development projects in Ahmedabad and may also visit parts of north Gujarat or Saurashtra during the tour. DeshGujarat
