16 New Government Colleges to Come Up in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: The state government on Monday announced plans to establish 16 new government colleges and introduce additional academic streams in eight existing institutions. Around 117 teaching and non-teaching positions will be filled across these colleges.
Officials have outlined the number of vacancies for each institution, with the recruitment process set to commence shortly.
In Ahmedabad, a new Arts, Commerce and Science college will be set up in Hathijan. Additional colleges will also come up in Khanpur, Una, Dhanera, Maliya, Ranpur, Dahegam and Gadhshisha.
Furthermore, in tribal regions, approvals have been granted for new colleges in Banaskantha, Valsad, Mahisagar, Dahod and Chhota Udepur districts, besides two in Surat district and one in Navsari. DeshGujarat
