Gujarat Police Recruitment Board Declares Final Result for 472 Unarmed PSI Posts

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has announced the final result for the recruitment of 472 posts of Unarmed Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) under advertisement number GPRB/202324/1.
In the first phase of the recruitment process, over 4.60 lakh candidates appeared for the physical test conducted in January–February 2025. More than one lakh candidates who qualified in the physical test became eligible for the written examination.
The written examination, carrying a total of 300 marks, was conducted on April 13, 2025. It consisted of Paper-1 (MCQ) worth 200 marks and Paper-2 (Subjective) worth 100 marks.
According to the examination rules of the PSI cadre, document verification for 1,025 candidates was conducted between February 5 and February 10, 2026.
After the verification process, a provisional result was declared on February 23, 2026, and objections or representations were invited from candidates. After considering the objections received, the board has now released the final selection list of 472 candidates, along with a waiting list of 95 candidates, on its official website on March 5, 2026.
Further procedures regarding the appointment of candidates included in the final selection and waiting lists will be carried out by the Gujarat Police under the supervision of the Director General of Police and Head of Police Force, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar. DeshGujarat
