NTPC Green Energy Adds 50.7 MW Renewable Capacity in Gujarat

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited on Wednesday announced the commencement of commercial operations for additional solar and wind capacities in Gujarat, as part of its ongoing expansion in the renewable energy sector.
In a regulatory filing, the company said that a 37.5 MW solar capacity, part of a 150 MW solar project of Ayana Renewable Power Four Pvt Ltd, has been declared commercially operational with effect from 00:00 hrs on April 2, 2026. Ayana Renewable Power Four is a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited.
Additionally, a 13.2 MW wind capacity, part of a 100 MW hybrid project (comprising 92.4 MW wind and 37.5 MW solar), has also commenced commercial operations from the same date.
Following the latest commissioning, the total commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has reached 10,075.70 MW. With the addition of these new capacities, the group’s overall installed capacity has increased to 10,126.40 MW.
The development marks a further step in the company’s efforts to scale up its renewable energy portfolio and strengthen its presence in India’s green energy sector. DeshGujarat
