Gujarat GST Revenue Grows 10% Year-on-Year in March 2026

Gandhinagar: Gujarat recorded steady growth in Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue in March 2026, as per data released by the Union Finance Ministry today.
On a post-settlement basis, the state’s State GST (SGST) collection rose by 10% year-on-year to ₹6,835 crore, compared to ₹6,193 crore in March 2025.
On a pre-settlement basis, Gujarat collected ₹4,450 crore in SGST in March 2026, registering a 5% increase compared to ₹4,246 crore in the corresponding month last year.
At the national level, post-settlement SGST collections across states and Union Territories grew by 5% to ₹90,817 crore in March 2026, up from ₹86,707 crore a year earlier. Pre-settlement SGST collections increased by 7% to ₹53,628 crore, compared to ₹49,591 crore in March 2025.
