Ramvilas Paswan, Ramdas Athwale in Ahmedabad

Republic Party of India(RPI) chief Ramdas Athwale and Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) leader Rmvilas Paswan are in Ahmedabad today.
Both parties are holding their conventions in Ahmedabad to gear up for the Gujarat assembly elections scheduled to take place in the end of this year.
Paswan told media persons that his party would field 182 candidates in Gujarat, while Athwale said he would like to have Maharashtra like tie up with the BJP in Gujarat. Athwale said he would meet Chief Minister Narendra Modi in this regard in Gandhinagar.
Both LJP and RPI parties have negligible presence in Gujarat.
