Infosys Chairman N.R.Narayana Murthy was in Vadodara today to receive Sayaji Ratna award. During a brief interaction with media persons, Shri Narayana Murthy admired Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi as one of the finest administrators in the country. Following is his observation about Mr. Modi and Gujarat:
“Mr. Modi has been acknowledged as one of the finest administrators in the country. There’s no doubt about it. When I go to Ahmedabad, when I come here, when I look at the power situation here, when I look at the quality of roads, when I look at the other infrastructure, it is very very clear. Just from the data on the ground that this state has performed extremely well. Now I don’t know how it is in certain human development indexes, like nutrition, healthcare etc. Therefore I am not in position to comment on that – in terms of rural children etc etc, but however as one who has visited cities like Ahmedabad and Vadodara. As one who has experienced the power availability, the quality of roads and all of that, I must say that he has done a very good job, there’s no doubt about it.”
