Suspended IPS DG Vanzara is still in jail and hopeful for his release as he has filed his bail plea in court, but even in this sad time, Vanzara family has achieved second major success that deserves celebration.
While daughter of Vanzara family Manjita Vanzara has become DySP through direct recruitment a few years back, Sudhambika Vanzara, daughter-in-law of Vanzara family has this week cleared UPSC IAS/IPS examination.
Sudhambika completed here Engineering from Bangalore and Masters from London and later settled with her businessman husband(son of brother of DG Vanzara Shri KG Vanzara who is retired Gujarat govt officer) in Gandhinagar.
Sudhambika believes she had enough education to make her career, but she wanted to do something that could give her satisfaction, and civil services was the best option, as she could serve the society through government system.
Sudhambika’s mother-in-law Shakuntla Vanzara is illiterate lady from Vadali village of Sabarkantha. Shakuntalaben is receiving wishes from family and friends on second success in family. Shakuntalaben successfully supported and made her daughter Manjita Vanzara a Dy.S.P(directly recruited)in Gujarat Police and now her Daugherty-in-law Sudhambika has cleared UPSC IAS/IPS, thanks to her support.
Sudhambika is basically a Kanadiga Lamani Banjara Gypsy from Bangalore. She knows many of South Indian languages and learnt Gujarati, Hindi, Rajasthani and Sanskrit languages also. She is a good folk singer and folk dances also in Banjara tradition.
