Sushma hands over Pravasi Bharatiya Divas logo to Gujarat CM

In the run-up to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) being held here from January 7 to 9, 2015, Union Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj handed over the PBD logo badge ‘Apna Bharat, Apna Gaurav’ to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel here. They pinned the badge on each other’s dress.
Ms Swaraj said the logo ‘Apna Bharat, Apna Gaurav’ prepared by Central Government truly reflects ‘Our India, Our Pride’, it being a matter of pride for all Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
She was here to preview the arrangements being made at the Sector-17 ground and other venues for the celebration of the PBD to mark the 100th Gandhi’s return to India, as well as the Vibrant Gujarat Summit from January 11 to 13, 2015.
Complimenting Gujarat for hosting the PBD this year, she wished the NRIs would identify themselves with event which should go down in the history as memorable one.
They were accompanied by Gujarat’s Minister for Non-Resident Gujaratis (NRGs) Pradeepsinh Jadeja and senior Secretaries of Gujarat Government.
