Ahmed Patel attends Bharuch District Muslim Patel Sahayak Mandal function

Speaking at Bharuch Jilla Muslim Patel Sahayak Mandal’s annual function which also saw felicitation of bright students, political secretary of congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Ahmed Patel today stressed on need to avail education to children at affordable cost.
He said today’s education is not affordable and it has not reached all. There has been commercialization of education and situation of government schools is in very poor condition. The level of education has gone down. Education is not affordable for poor, common and middle class students.The present government has slashed budget for education and health. While digital India is talked about, the state government has not completed procedure to identify poor people to implement the food security act. The state government is taking two years for survey to identify poor beneficiaries, and therefore it will take two years to take benefits to them.
Ahmed Patel stressed on networking for wider reach of government schemes among people. He launched a website of Bharuch Jilla Muslim Patel Sahayak Mandal and pointed out that it should have all the details of each family of this community. He expressed opinion that coaching facilities for GPSC-UPSC and other competitive exams should be made available and those capable in community should come forward to help needy persons. He said developed community can not be achieved by relying only on government.
