A 690 meter long bridge’s construction at 146.5 meter height at Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam has been completed. The bridge is standing over 29 spans under whcih 23 gates measuring 55 by 60 ft and 7 gates measuring 60 by 60 ft will be fixed. The work has been done at a cost of about Rs 160 crore. Further Rs 200 crore will be spent before completion of work. Narmada dam’s construction work will be over by year 2017, it is learnt.
