Surat: On the last day of the 10-day-long Ganeshotsav, Surat witnessed the immersion of over 54,256 idols by 5 p.m. in artificial ponds created by the Surat Municipal Corporation. Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has lifted all controls pertaining to the size of Ganesh idols for Ganeshotsav this year as all regulations related to Covid -19 have ceased to become applicable after March 31, 2022.
