Kheda: An incident has come to light in Gothaj village of Mehmedabad where an alleged attempt was made to derail trains by placing stones on the railway track. Stones were thrown onto the Ahmedabad-Mumbai main railway track by unknown individuals. This scheme was uncovered after a loco pilot of a goods train reported hitting something. Bhuj court rejects pleas of farmers against land acquisition by Railways

Bhuj: Local court here has rejected the pleas of farmers in land acquisition related case. As many as 23 farmers from Sukhpar village had challenged the land acquisition by Railways for laying a new railway line between Bhuj and Naliya in border district Kutch.
