Gandhinagar: As of 6 AM today, the state of Gujarat has received 554.93 mm of rainfall, which constitutes 62.93% of its average annual rainfall for the season. According to data from the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC), among the regions, South Gujarat—as usual—recorded the highest rainfall with 997.07 mm, completing 66.93% of its seasonal average. Very heavy rain lashes parts of Gujarat; nearly 7 inches in Bhavnagar in 4 hours

Gandhinagar: Several parts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat received moderate to heavy rainfall between 6:00 am and 12:00 noon on Monday, with Jesar taluka in Bhavnagar district recording the highest rainfall at 177 mm (6.97 inches), followed by Palitana at 5.94 inches and Mahuva (Bhavnagar) at 5.83 inches.
