Gandhinagar: In response to a demand raised by the registered associations of auto rickshaws, the Government of Gujarat has decided to increase the fares of rickshaws in the State. According to Transport minister Purnesh Modi, the minimum fare (meter downing cost) has been increased from Rs. 15 to Rs. 18, while per km fare (running fare) has been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 13.
