From 1st November onwards, electricity bills for above Rs. 10,000 will mandatorily be required to be paid through online mode only. This rule will be effective for all customers of GUVNL, MGVCL, PGVCL and DGVCL. Those customers, even those who are resident customers will need to pay bill above Rs. 10,000 sum only by online mode. Surat: The Crime Branch of Surat Police has nabbed 11 more persons including five women who had got job in UGVCL (Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd) wrongfully by cheating in the exam. Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) here today arrested two accused including a Deputy Engineer in Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (UGVCL) for taking Rs. 40,000 bribe. A complainant had started biscuit making business near his home and he attempted to steal power from UGVCL line using own cable.
