Junagadh: The Government of Gujarat today refuted media reports and clarified that no lion was missing and all lions were safe during Tauktae cyclone.  DT Vasavada, officer heading Wildlife circle in Junagadh in a rebuttal note said the lions shifted from coastal areas to safer places on their own and none of lions in coastal areas of Rajula, Jafrabad, Una, Kodinar or Mahuva talukas was missing.  He said the forest department refutes the reports that 18 lions are missing.
