Gujarat police Anti Terrorist squad member had reached at Mufti Abu Bashr Islahi’s house in the form of match maker with proposal of suitable bride for him.

Representative of ATS Gujarat had also brought suitable girl’s photograph to show for marriage proposal.

Sources told DeshGujarat.Com that as soon as Abu Bashr lured by good match making proposal arrived to the scene, he was held by Gujarat Police ATS team members.

Bashir’s parents reportedly have alleged that he was taken away on the pretext of some marriage proposals.

Mufti Abu Bashr islahi whom Gujarat police chief P.C.Pande in Ahmedabad’s press conference declared as a master mind behind Ahmedabad blasts enjoys third rank in banned Islamic India based terrorist group SIMI(Student Islamic Movement of India).

Born in Benapara village in Azamgadh area of Uttar Pradesh state, Abu Bashr went to Saharanpur for computer education. He lived in Hyderabad for a long time then after.

Gujarat police chief P.C.Pande expressed possibilities of finding some clues of Hydrabad blasts too through Abu bshr as he had stayed in Hyderabad for a long duration.

After his arrest in Lucknow on Saturday morning, The court of Lucknow Chief Judicial Magistrate Sapna Singh granted 3 days transit remand of Mufti Abu bashr.

Abu bashr was then immediately taken to Ahmedabad in a special chartered plane. Plane reached to the city of Ahmedabad at around 10:30 in the evening. Amidst high presence of media he was quickly taken to undeclared place for interrogation.

Meanwhile as soon as the news of Mufti’s arrest spread, fraction of journalists from media have started to knock door of Mufti’s house and releasing news stories quoting his parents that he was innocent. Such stories were also planted by fraction of media after recent arrests of Abdul Halim in Ahmedabad and Sajeed Mansuri in Bharuch in connection to Ahmedabad blasts quoting their wives that their men are innocents.

Gujarat police chief P.C. Pande in his press conference on Saturday said “I have no complain if media doesn’t help the police at all. But by mistake or due to over excitement friends in media representing the things in a manner that may help Anti-nation elements. I had recently nearly a verbal fight with some friends in media on this issue.”
