Gujarat University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Parimal Trivedi on Wednesday announced that all research work in Gujarat University would be published in English language now onwards. The decision has been taken to ensure publication of research work in international journals according to Trivedi.
Trivedi said, so far, the research work was published in Gujarati here which restricted its acceptance abroad. The new rule would be applicable in science, commerce and management faculties. Research work in languages would be exempt from it.
The topics of research would be finalised not by the students any more but by a panel, the Gujarat University has decided. The panel would decide the topic of research as per the requirements of the industry.
