Jam Palace burglary:Diamonds,antiques recovered,5 nabbed

Surendranagar Police local crime branch has arrested five persons involved in Jamnagar palace burglary case.
Of five arrested, four are from Porbandar’s Devipujak gang and one Rahim Mohammad is Surendranagar’s Muslim.
Police recovered stolen antiquities worth crores of Rupees including one diamond worth Rs half a crore according to valuation made by authorized person.
Silver photo frames, quarter bottles, wall pieces, imported precious gold items were also recovered.
According to police, Sanjay Babu of Porbandar was mastermind of whole episode. The gang visited the palace frequently through backside wall and a tall tree nearby in period of three months. The palace campus is big and no-one was staying inside this campus during this period.
