Modi opens Raksha Shakti University:first diploma batch full

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday opened ‘Raksha Shakti University’ in New Mental area of Ahmedabad. Modi said the government of Gujarat has allotted 192 acre land to Raksha Shakti University near Gandhinagar.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Gujarat Chief Minister said, the state of Gujarat has set up Gujarat National Law University, Best-equipped Forensic Science University and now Raksha Shakti University. In all over India, it is only Gujarat that has adopt a path towards the comprehensive human resources development strategy.
Modi said, all 160 seats of Raksha Shakti University’s first diploma in police science course has been filled. As many as 800 youths had applied to join the maiden course of the university, according to Modi.
Raksha Shakti University’s Director O.P.Mathur delivered a welcome address on this occasion. State Chief Secretary A.K.Joti, state Police Chief S.S.Khandawawala and other top police officials were present in the function.
