Junagadh,Porbandar,Jamnagar receive more than entire season rain

Gujarat’s three districts have received more than 100% average rain fall of this season, so far. Any further amount of rain in these districts can harm agricultural production, but also can ensure great Rabi crop season. Monsoon in the state is just in the middle as of now.
Saurashtra’s Porbandar district has received 132.43% rain of the season. Junagadh has received 100.81%, Jamnagar has witnessed 145.90% rain. Jamnagar’s Khambhalia taluka has received 275.26% rain which is more than double than average.
Arid Kutch district has received 137% rain of the season. Mandvi taluka of the district has experienced three times more rain than the average(306.05%) so far. Gujarat’s driest most, border taluka of Lakhpat has its dam overflowing.
Other district of Saurashtra/Kutch region: Rajkot has so far 92.86% rain fall. Amreli has 77.31% and Bhavnagar has 57.76% rain,two talukas of Amreli district: Dhari and Jafrabad have more than 100% rain. Bagasara is just near with 96.49% rainfall. Surendranagar district has 69.70% rain. Dhrangadhra and Wadhvan talukas are near 100% with 98.41% and 90.39% rain so far respectively.
