Rajkot, 30 January 2012
Leader of opposition in Gujarat assembly Shri Shaktisinh Gohil while speaking at Satkarma counter-fast in Rajkot district’s Jetpur today said that Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s upvaas are not upvaas but Bakwaas.
Gohil was speaking this in reference to Narendra Modi’s Sadbhavana fast.
Gohil said, upvaas(fast) is done in detached manner, one who performs upvaas talks with humbleness, but Modi orders government machinery to bring maximum number of people to his fast and seeing the people, he starts speaking in great excitement like a tapori.
Gohil further said, there’s no major difference between a ‘madari'(snake charmer) and Narendra Modi. Modi speaks in a language of madari. He plays dug-dugi and calls people. While madari takes away ‘lot'(flour), Modi is desperate for vote.
Congress party’s Satkarma fast today had good number of people attending it. This is because the local leader and Porbandar MP Viththal Radadiya had announced that his Satkarma counter-fast would have presence of more number of people compare to Modi’s Sadbhavana fast.
