Usually the Gujarat unit of Congress party tends to criticize most of the initiatives of the Gujarat government.
But the opposition party was totally silent on, before and after the Charanka solar park opening function this week.
However, two days after Chief Minister Narendra Modi opened the 600 MW solar power plants at Charanka in north Gujarat, we have found something that has been heard from the Congress camp on Charanka solar park initiative.
In ‘Hisab do jawab do’ protest rally of Gujarat Congress held in Patan couple of days back, former leader of opposition in Gujarat assembly Shri Naresh Rawal reminded central government aid in solar power sector.
Rawal said, “it is the central government that gives 70% subsidy for solar power generation. Farooq Abdullah is central minister of this department, but in Charanka solar power plant event, neither Faruq sahab, nor any other central minister was called.”
“Mumbai based American Consul General of came to Charanka event and sat with the Chief Minister, but America has yet not granted visa to the Chief Minister,” Rawal added.
