Even after he has become Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi continues to sign the documents in Gujarati text only. Not only this, but in Australia, after watching Agro Robot at Queensland University of Technology, when opportunity came to write a message digitally, he choose to write in Gujarati script only. Modi writes(rough translation): Research is mother of development. Human being’s journey of development has constant relation with research. Growing dominance of science and technology in the area of agriculture will be helpful to Agricultural world and agriculture rishis(saints, Modi here wants to describe farmers as Krishi rishis). This is important step for human welfare. Congratulations for a step forward to agriculture science. Wishes. Narendra Modi 14-11-14.
The Agro Robot is a light weight machine that performs the functions of a large tractor, including weeding.
Modi took a walk around the university to learn more about the agricultural research going on there.
