Major traffic restrictions/diversion in and around Gandhinagar

Gujarat Police has announced traffic restrictions, diversions during 8 January to 14 January on Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar and Gandhinagar road stretches due to visits by Prime Minister, Vice President and number of Indian and foreign dignitaries.
8 January to 14 January
-Commuters on Koba circle to Shahpur chokdi stretch on Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar highway will be allowed to use only service road and not the main road.
-Those wanting to enter Gandhinagar town from SG Highway/Vaishnavdevi will need to use Vavol village(on left side of Uvarsad chokdi)-state highway 133-road number 6- Tata chokdi route.
-Road stretch between Shahpur chokdi to Sargasan chokdi and Gandhinagar bypass not to be used by commuters.
-District panchayat pick up point ST buses will go to Ahmedabad via Chha-4 circle to Chha-3 to Cha-3 to Cha-0(Indroda circle).
-ST buses from Ahmedabad(Koba and Vaishnavdevi/SG will take Cha-3, Gha-3-St depot route.
-ST buses from Mehsana /Himmatnagar side will use Cha-7-Cha-6, Chha-6, Chha-3-Gha-3 route.
Roads in Gandhinagar
-‘J’ road will be closed for traffic on 7 January 6.00 pm to 8 January 3.00 pm and between 10 January evening and on 11 January from morning to 5.00 pm.
-J road, Kh0 to Kha-5, Gha-0 to Gha-5 and G-3 to G-5 and Cha-3 to Cha-5 routes will be closed during 7 January to 13 January.
