40 teams, 22 JCB working in rural Amreli for disposal of dead animals

40 teams and 22 JCB machines are at service for disposal of dead bodies of cattle in flood-affected areas of Amreli district in Gujarat. Disposal of 419 cattle is reported today. The entire task is being performed by Animal Husbandry department of Government of Gujarat.
The government has started 7 fodder distribution centers at taluka headquarters of Amreli, Dhari, Bagasara, Vadiya, Kunkavav, Liliya and Savarkundla where fodder is available for Rs 2/Kg which is subsidized rate.
7 Sanjivani tems, 17 RBSK teams, 6 mobile medical teams are active in flood-affected areas with essential tablets. Medical camps have been held in 11 villages involving 477 patients. 261 packets of ORS are distributed. These details were shared by guardian secretary of Amreli district smt Anju Sharma.
