Patidar agitator booked under sedition charges

Morbi police has booked Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS)’s Nilesh Ervadia under sedition charges for circulating abusive, objectionable and provocative messages on social media about BJP national president Amit Shah, chief minister Anandiben Patel and other leaders before the Patidar’s Maha rally on August 25 in Ahmedabad. Nilesh has also been booked under cyber crime for allegedly sending messages “to incite violence and create enmity between communities in society.”
Booked for audio/video clips
Nilesh is booked for audio/video clips that he made and circulated before 25th August Patidar rampage. In his audio/video clips he provoked Patidars to give and take bullets. He had issued threats to do Chandrashekhar and Bhagat Singh like violent agitation. He also asked Patidars to burn buses post 25th August. He had said that national news channels that don’t give coverage to Patidar agitation will see flames and they will have to give coverage. He said if police arrest some Patidar youths, they will be released on bail, and I would be the first person to assure their release. We need to show Ramapir no parcho on 25 August.
In another clip Nilesh asked Patidars to be ready to go to jail and suffer bullets. He asked Patidars to uproot railway tracks and make holes on national highways . 25-30 lakh Patidars should reach in Ahmedabad on 24 August itself and make such a situation that BJP President Amit Shah should runaway to Delhi without taking ticket in train.
Nilesh spoke number of abusing words in his three clips.
Gujarat Samachar reports: Accused Nilesh was booked in the past for cheating with Varachha-Surat based Rajnikantbhai Prakashbhai. Nielsh had taken Rs 15,000 from Rajnikant by giving him promise to ensure a job in Durban in Africa. But no such promise was fulfilled and money was not returned. Rajnikant was not the only person he had duped using this modus operendy. Varachha Police had arrested him on 1st April 2012. Nilesh was arrested on 10 February 1999 by Halvad police in Surendranagar district for abduction of a 16-year old girl. He had led a rally from Morbi to Halvad on 10 August and met Hardik Patel.
Police has recovered 4 audio/video clips from Nilesh. He had sent these clips to 100 persons and 25 Patidar groups. He had also posted these clips on Facebook and Youtube and attracted over 20,000 likes.
