More on PM Narendra Modi’s upcoming Deesa visit in North Gujarat

Palanpur: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch new dairy plant of Banas dairy and various other projects at Deesa town in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat on December 10.

Palanpur based Banas dairy has set up cheese plant and whey powder plant at a cost of Rs 350 crore. Along with these plants, the Prime Minister will also launch A-2 milk Kankrej cow milk project, Banas honey project, Kankrej cow breed conservation project, start of Late Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel birth century year, start of Banas Dairy golden jubilee year celebration, start of Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust, 100 tdp powder plant at Palanpur, Faridabad dairy plant in Haryaa and Kanpur dairy plant in Uttar Pradesh.

Several upcoming project will be announced in this function.

Cheese plant which is going to be inaugurated has been set up with state-of-the-art technology. It has daily 30 mt production capacity. It will produce processed and mozzarella cheese which will be marketed under Amul brand. Machinery for this plant has been procured from renown companies across the world. International quality cheese produced in this plant will be exported abroad. With better revenue through this project, the milk producers will be given good prices of their produce in future.

Whey plant which is going to be inaugurated by PM has 40 mt/day capacity. Two powder products are to be produced as per market demand through this plant. For now, this product will be used as row material for making of other product.
