Core attraction of Sparkle 2017 will be replica of Somnath Shivlinga made from gold and diamonds

Surat: The core attraction of annual Sparkle exhibition of gems and jewellery in Surat this year will be replica of Shri Somnath Mandir Shivlinga made by diamonds and gold.
The replica model of Shri Somnath shivlinga is being made by a company from Mumbai. It will have 75,000 diamonds and covered with gold. It will be 22 ft tall.
The exhibition planned over 10,000 square ft area is going to start from January 19. It will showcase the latest range of jewelries.
A series of seminar will be part of the event during 19-20-21 January in cooperation with Gemological Institute of America.
Sparkle is going to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
