January 19, 2017
Vadodara: It’s nearly a month but none has come forward to claim ownership of Mercedes and Honda cars seized by police during the liquor party raid at Akhand farm house in Vadodara.
On 22nd December last year, police had seized 90 cars worth Rs 17 crore including a Bantley during raid at pre-wedding liquor party at Akhand farm house here. While others took away 88 cars after court granted permission, there are two cars parked in police premises for which nobody has come forward yet. Of these two cars one is Mumbai passing Mercedes car while the other is Vadodara passing Honda car.
Police is soon going to contact the owners of these cars identified as per the RTO registration numbers. For now, two constables are deployed to take care of the cars.
