100-bed ESIC hospital inaugurated at Ankleshwar, will be expanded to 200-bed

Ankleshwar: Speaking on the occasion of inauguration of new ESIC hospital here, Union minister of state(independent charge) for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya said, the hospital in Ankleshwar will offer round the clock service to labourers.
The minister said, the hospital which has been built at a cost of Rs 100 crore will offer services like emergency, causalities, indoor admission, radiology, OPD, operation theater, ICU etc.
“This is a full-fledged hospital which will serve laborers and insured persons. We have decided to expand this facility to a 200-bed hospital. There are around one lakh labouers here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes to offer super-speciality hospital type treatment to labouers. We aim to start implementing this vision from Gujarat,” Dattatreya said.
New ESIC hospital inaugurated today at industrial town Ankleshwar in Central Gujarat will be run by Employees’ State Insurance Corporation(ESIC) which functions under ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani among others were present on this occasion.
