Jitu Vaghani appears in court in cheque bounce case

Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP today issued further clarification in regard with non-bailable warrant issued against the State party president Jitubhai Vaghani. State BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya said, ‘complainant had misled the court and managed to trigger issuance of warrant. Complainant had concealed the fact that Rs 19 lakh amount was transferred to him through RTGS after cheque paid to him by Vaghani’s copany failed to clear. Jitubhai Vaghani as one of the partners of the firm was unaware about functioning of company involved in this case. His signature was not there either on disputed MoU related to said land deal or a cheque which was issued but failed to clear. Respecting the warrant, Jitubhai appeared in the court. The complainant and opposition Congress party misled the court and common people by concealing the facts in entirety.’
